Executive Leadership Team

Rakan Aboneaaj, co-president

Rakan is a second-year MBA at the Wharton School. This summer, he interned with JPMorgan’s Global Natural Resources investment banking group. Last year, he was an associate on WIIP’s Urban Development team. Before Wharton, he worked at Social Finance on impact investments and data analytics, and earlier was a consultant with the World Bank’s Private Capital Facilitation unit and a research associate with the Center for Global Development’s Sustainable Development Finance team. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Middle East Studies from Brown University and was a Fulbright Research Fellow in São Paulo, Brazil.

Riddhi Shah, co-president

Riddhi is a second-year MBA at the Wharton School focused on sustainable food systems and alternative proteins. She has venture experience with Lever VC supporting early-stage alt-protein and sustainable food startups and previously worked at BlackRock. Last year, she was on WIIP’s Food & Nutrition team. She holds a B.S. from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Kathleen Malloch, CFO

Kathleen is a second-year MBA at the Wharton School. Last summer, she worked at Pangaea Ventures through the Mosaic Fellowship, a hard-tech venture fund focused on impact in water, climate, and human health at Series A inflection points. Last year, she was on WIIP’s Energy & Climate team. Before Wharton, she was an Engagement Manager at Oliver Wyman advising companies—from startups to Fortune 500—on commercializing next-generation biotech and climate tech. Previously, she received the Trustman Fellowship to work with startups in Lima and Buenos Aires. She holds a B.A. in Neurobiology from Harvard University.
